Of all Penzance’s teams, both adult and youth, the Under-13 Titans were the only ones to beat the horrendous weather last weekend. And what a game they had too, defeating Troon 5-3 in a splendid match. Tom Adams scored four of the goals with Theo Jackson getting the other.

If the elements allow, this Sunday a number of our teams are in action. At Newlyn Coombe the Under-9 Cosmos play Truro City whilst the Under-13 Titans and Under-14 Appollos both have away fixtures at Probus.
The Under-18s are also on the road, travelling to Blaise Park to take on St Blazey (2pm kick-off). And, fingers crossed, there will be some action at Penlee Park with the Under-16 Jets welcoming St Dennis at 10.30am. However, this will of course be dependent on the weather and the state of the pitch after Saturday’s first team fixture – watch this space!
