Both Penzance and St Dennis will be looking for their first points of the season when they clash at Penlee Park this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
The Magpies have suffered 3-1 defeats in both their first two matches – at St Blazey last Saturday and at home to Mullion on Wednesday night – whilst St Dennis were beaten by the same score at Wadebridge at the weekend.
Last season the two teams occupied the bottom slots in the final table, but were reprieved relegation to the St Piran League by Porthleven’s early season withdrawal. Both won their respective home games. Penzance thrashed their visitors 6-1 in September but, despite taking the lead through an early Mark Vercesi penalty, were unable to prevent the Saints recording their first victory of the season in early March.
After an impressive debut on Wednesday, Tyler Dayus retains his place in the Penzance first team squad where he is joined by new signing Obinna Abuka and Mikey Flores, Will Trenoweth, Archie Reynolds, Tyler Tonkin, Ryan Andrew, Max Everard, Robertas Samnauskas, Kizzy Snowden, Jacob Trudgeon, Silas Sullivan, Darryl Richards and Rocco Hill.
St Dennis manager Simon Minett selects from Ryan Holland, Mikey Davies, David Rickard, Jake McLean, Ash Taylor, Logan Capeling, Tyler Trudgeon, Harry Cranstone, Josh Pope, Martin Sleeeman, Ross Maynard, Conner Dean, Phil Wearing, Ryan Oxley, Jacob Rowe, Joe Munday.
