DISABILITY TEAM UPDATE

The latest tournament, held at Cornwall College in Pool, was disappointing, reports coach Pete Coombes. We lost both of our Premiership fixtures, all four of our Championship matches and won one of four League matches. This was mainly due to several players missing due to work commitments, and an injury on the day leaving our Premiership squad with only five players.

On a positive note, Cameron Charman was outstanding in goal in the Championship keeping us in several of the matches. Also, Zac McClaskey made his debut in the League after one training session on Saturday, and scored in two matches and fitting in really well.

Penzance Disability are always on the look-out for players at all levels, especially youth. If you are interested in giving it a try, or know anyone who does, please contact Pete Coombes on 07850 557577 (peter_coombes@yahoo.co.uk)
